We use the correct tools and the correct techniques at the right time of the year for each woody plant species.

We use quality equipment, sharp blades, tailored deck settings and cut patterns for the specifics of your property. Every cut includes mowing, trimming, hardscape edging and post-cut Cleanoff.

We can pull weeds. We can work with you to develop a plan to eradicate persistent, problem weeds.

 We clear overgrowth, invasive, unwanted scrub, honeysuckle, whatever you want gone.... and leave healthy trees and clear ground.

Gives a crisp look, improves soil health, suppresses weeds, nourishes shrubs and trees.

During Spring and Fall we plant up to 25-gallon containers.

Lush healthy turf is the first line of defense against invasive weeds.

 In September/October we pull plugs to strengthen grass roots and counteract soil compaction. We add seed to stimulate new growth and thicken turf.

we have the tools and skills to:

• remove deadwood, and crossing/conflicting branches.

• preserve meaningful mature trees 

• Shape/train young trees to achieve optimal form.

• raise the crown for pedestrian, mower, or vehicle passage.

• thin for air and light penetration or to open up views.

• close down squirrel bridges--cutting back for 10-15' of roof/house clearance.

Our default mode is to preserve trees. When beyond preserving, we have the equipment and skills to get dead/problem trees safely down and off your property.

If a job is beyond our scope--over 60ft, dangling over fragile property--we'll refer to appropriate contractors.

It's unnecessary to pay those companies' overhead for many common removal scenarios we excel at.

 Mulching leaves into the lawn provides natural fertilizer. At a certain point (usually under large or multiple trees of certain species) it can introduce turf wrecking thatch and fungus. In middle/late fall we bring out removal tools: detail rakes for hard-to-reach areas, Versatile blowers to match property conditions, trailer vacuum to eliminate curbside piles.

When leaves are down, we can see and best affect the structure and symmetry of woody plants. We use species appropriate tools and techniques to set your landscape up for a successful growing season
